Guitars are Neat (or new Burro Music tune "Harps")

I've got a crisp new banger called "Harps" for some reason, which includes an unheard of venture into guitar meddling for one who usually stays within the comforting confines of the sawtooth synth.

Anyhow, have a listen below and download from my website here: burromusic.bandcamp.com (if you want to do me a solid, pay something, however small for the album if possible, but I know times is hard...)

I Am Not An Artist

This conglomerate of perpetual motion creations is really quite amazing, but not for the faint of heart (or stomach). Be forewarned if you get whoozy during your average jaunt around the block, riding shotgun with your chums: www.iamnotanartist.org

Thanks to the wonderful blog Yewknee.com for sharing.

NX35: A Whole Lotta Beard

Well, that's what their website says, and if you live here, you know the reason why. Anyhow, I'm very proud of our little burg and not a little upset that I'm going to miss all the festivities and stellar music scheduled next week in little D during the NX35 conferette: http://35conferette.com/

Some of my favorites off the top of my dome: Robert Gomez, Snarky Puppy, Neon Indian, not to mention Midlake, the Walkmen and a little jug band called the Flaming Lips

For specifics, including artist spotlights and reviews for the event, please see My Denton Music, which is doing a cracking job of getting the word out on all these creative folks.
